Hello! My name is Joey and I am an educational psychologist, experiential educator, consultant, and trainer that has reached thousands of teens and young adults in over 40 countries on 5 continents. I specialize in social and emotional learning, identity development, motivation, and immersive programs (in-person and virtually).

My current research focuses on the relationships between empathy, emotions, motivations, identity, and creativity in educational contexts using complex dynamic systems approaches. Through this work I aim to produce practical resources and recommendations for school administrators, educators, policymakers, and researchers.
